  • Pension Enhancements for OTPP Members
    December 13, 2017
    On January 1, 2018, three decisions by the Ontario Teachers’ Federation (OTF) and the Ontario Government, as joint sponsors of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (Plan), go into effect; all of which are good news for OTPP members.
  • International Human Rights Day: December 10th
    December 6, 2017
    Human Rights Day is observed every year on December 10—the day the United Nations General Assembly adopted, in 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

    A reminder to District 3 members of the exclusive endorsement partnership between OSSTF/FEESO and the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP).

  • D3 Citizenship Bursaries
    January 18, 2018
    There will be 5 Bursaries of $500.00 each presented annually to children of OSSTF District 3 members. The bursaries are for students who have demonstrated exemplary citizenship within their school and possibly in the wider community.
  • OSSTF Member Recognition Awards
    January 9, 2018
    Every year, OSSTF/FEESO recognizes some of our members, districts and bargaining units for the outstanding work that they do on behalf of the Federation and its members.
  • OSSTF Financial Assistance Awards
    January 8, 2018
    These awards provide financial assistance to members who are pursuing further education. In addition, bursaries are available for members with a child or ward who has applied to enter a publicly-funded post-secondary college, university or apprenticeship program. Further information and, if applicable, application forms, can be accessed on each individual page.
